What are Volta Executive's fees?
25% of the annual gross package of the executive hired for one role, 23% per role from two similar roles, assigned together, with no extra fees. A one-third deposit is invoiced at launch and deducted from the final invoice; the balance is due on signature of the job offer. The mandate is exclusive. For a role at €80,000: €20,000 excl. VAT, i.e. €6,667 deposit and €13,333 balance. For two similar roles: €18,400 excl. VAT per role.
On what basis is the percentage calculated?
On the first-year annual gross package: the fixed salary, the target variable pay (bonuses, premiums, profit-sharing) and benefits in kind valued for tax purposes, such as a vehicle. Always compare two quotes on the same basis: 20% of a full package and 20% of a fixed salary do not give the same invoice.
How are the fees paid?
In two instalments: a deposit of one third of the fees at the launch of the assignment, on signature of the scoping, then the balance on signature of the job offer. The deposit is deducted from the final invoice: it is not added to the fees. It is retained if the recruitment is stopped along the way, because it pays for the search work already under way; the balance, for its part, follows the result.
Why 23% from two roles?
Because two similar roles, of the same function and level, assigned together, share the scoping, the market mapping and the approach to executives. Each is then invoiced at 23% of the annual gross package instead of 25%, with the same schedule: a one-third deposit at launch, the balance on each job offer signed. Two different roles stay at 25% each.
What happens if the candidate leaves during the probation period?
The replacement guarantee applies: the search restarts at no additional fee. It lasts 3 months, extendable to 6 months, and comes with a 90-day onboarding follow-up (meetings at day 7, 30, 60 and 90). The exclusions are set out in the T&Cs: substantial change to the role, internal reorganisation.
Do you practise executive search?
Yes. Volta Executive recruits executives and key managers in industry and energy by direct approach: site and plant directors, functional directors, branch directors. Each assignment is entrusted exclusively and follows the same framework: one hour of scoping with the future manager, mapping of the talent pool, a shortlist within 10 days, a hire within 3 weeks. The name of your company appears only after the qualification interview.
How long does it take you to recruit?
In 3 weeks, within a precise framework: one hour of scoping and a scorecard on day one, mapping of the talent pool over the first three days, a shortlist within 10 days, the chosen candidate and accepted offer within 3 weeks. The candidate's notice period, often three months for a manager in post, then comes on top. As a benchmark, hiring a manager took 12 weeks on average in 2024 (Apec, 2025).
