02 · The role

Electrical Engineering Manager · permanent contract, cadre status

What you do,in practice

  1. Size and select

Transformers, cables, circuit breakers, protections, main LV switchboards. Projects are moving from conventional distribution to full high voltage: every choice weighs more than before.

  2. Run electrical studies

Load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, earthing, harmonics, arc flash. You validate the team's studies and carry out the hardest ones yourself.

  3. Maintain compliance

IEC standards and grid connection codes in the target countries, project after project. You are the one who vouches that the sizing holds.

  4. Manage without micromanaging

The team is young and expects real delegation. You set up a skills development plan and move each engineer from small projects to large ones.

  5. Align the three disciplines

Electrical, mechanical and automation work must move forward together on the same project. You are the identified electrical contact for the other two units.

  6. Support bids

You cost and challenge technical bids with the sales team, from the pre-sales phase.

  7. Standardise the department

Common equipment across projects, key suppliers qualified, first review processes, calculation templates. A lot of know-how still sits in very few heads.

Your place

A clear place,at the right level

Technical management knows the department from the inside: you are not arriving alone.

We tell you frankly

The step up to high voltage is the real issue, and the team does not yet have full maturity on it. What sits in a few heads must become a written standard, without slowing down current projects. You run several international projects in parallel, with tight deadlines, and there is no remote working. The hire is a priority, so the process is fast.

05 · Your first months

What we expect of you

Your first months,step by step

  1. Day 0 to day 30

    Meet the team

Each engineer, one by one. You map the current projects and the department's technical sticking points.

  2. Day 30 to day 90

    Set the standards

First high-voltage sizing standards, first skills development rituals, first arbitration rules.

  3. Day 90 to day 180

    Take back control

You directly lead the most demanding projects and become the electrical contact for the other two units.
